The 2024 PWHL Draft had it all: surprise picks, a trade, the home team getting booed, and three-time Olympian Amanda Kessel. The newest crop of players enters the league and Boston was a major player in the draft, making a number of moves to improve its team.
Boston trades up to select Pejšová
With the seventh overall pick, Boston selected Ilona Markova, a forward from the Czech Republic. Boston traded up three spots in its draft order to bolster its defense with Pejšová, dealing away Picks No. 10, 16, and 28 to PWHL New York in exchange.
